Bo Rangers Football Club celebrated their victory of the 2023/24 Leone Rock Premier League in a ground style at a ceremony on June 30th this year.
Minister of Sports, Madam Augusta James-Teima, presented the trophy and praised the team’s dedication and commitment, especially on winning the league tow times consecutively.
She highlighted the importance of Bo Rangers’ success, not just for the club, but for the entire nation.
The $80,000 investment sets a new standard for the league, providing not only financial support to football administrators but by also providing uniforms and kits for referees.
They introduced the “Player of the Month” and “Coach of the Month” awards, a first in Sierra Leonean football history.
These awards, along with the sponsorship itself, were lauded by Premier League Board Chairman Victor Lewis for creating job opportunities for young Sierra Leoneans.
