Stakeholders of the female Bondo society commonly referred to as ‘Soweis’ are in desperately searching for one Isatu Kabia, who refused to succeed her deceased grandmother based on tradition and customs.

According to report monitored by this medium, Isatu’s grandmother Nasoco Kabia passed away on July 10th 2023. The report added that the late woman and her ‘Soweis’ clan had resolved that Isatu as the first female granddaughter should take over the mantle of leadership as tradition demands.

However, this medium found out that Isatu was never aware or informed about the secret pact to succeed her deceased grandmother.

This medium is reliably informed that after the funeral ceremony that was held in Lunsar, Port Loko district; some family members and the ‘soweis’ approached Isatu to relay the decision was taken secretly.

Isatu, our source went on blatantly rejected the idea on the grounds that based on tips she has heard about the cruel nature of initiation, she would not venture to be initiated.
