The CEO and Founder of Disabled International ( DIF- SL) Dr. Imambay Kamara, an industrious member of the Mandingo Union UK & IR has raised the image of the Mandingo Union UK & IR by being nominated by the Sierra Leone High Commission to the United Kingdom H.E. Dr. Morie Manyeh and his deputy High Commissioner Mrs. Yvonne King Ordigboh.

On behalf of the entire membership of the Mandingo Union UK & IR, We extend our profound thanks and gratitude to the High Commissioner and his deputy for giving our Iconic and Industrious woman this greatest Opportunity with a high esteem of honour.

As a motivation and Inspiration, Dr. Imambay Kamara was blessed to have been invited to a Royal reception at St. James’s Palace in advance of the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting 2024.

Dr. Imambay Kamara, an Iconic Global Champion for Disability Rights and Humanitarian Work stands as a  leading global advocate for disability rights, and has shown her deep passion for advocacy and dedicated her time and life in empowering people with disabilities, and addressing the unique challenges they face particularly in her native homeland of Sierra Leone.

As a woman of substance, she was inspired to pursue a pathway that would uplift and bring positive change to the Society we live in . Her Foundation has implemented numerous programmes aimed at providing education, Vocational training, healthcare, and livelihood support for disabled people.

The work of Dr. Imambay Kamara transcends  borders, as she has become a prominent figure on the global stage by advocating for disability rights and humanitarian assistance at various International forums. She has represented her Foundation at the United Nations and other International bodies by amplifying the Voices of disabled individuals in the entire world.

Her humanitarian work has underscored the importance of disability – Inclusive Crisis response mechanism and paved  the way for a sustainable mechanism.
