In a significant development aimed at enhancing port security operations, Sonoco Group SL Limited, has officially handed over the keys of a newly erected building to the management of the Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA).
This transfer marks a pivotal moment in bolstering security measures at the ports.
It promised that some military guards are set to be re-located to the newly designated facility.
Mark Pritchard, General Manager of Sonoco Group SL Limited, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration between his company and the SLPHA management.

The handover ceremony was also attended by Martin Maada George Esq, the Company Secretary of SLPHA, who represented the director-general.
