In a bid to improve the quality of soccer in the country, the Sierra Leone Football Association has successfully trained regional Football Associations and Club officials on FIFA CONNECT PROGRAM.
The one-day training was facilitated by SLFA, Director of Competitions Sorie Ibrahim Sesay and Premier League Board Secretary Sampha Hassan Kamara, the seminar was aimed at training football administrators on the professional registration using the FIFA connect system, ahead of the new league season.
The FIFA Connect Program aids members associations (MAs) to register all their stakeholders in a systemic way and keep track of players, coaches and referees wherever they are in the world.
The Connect Program provides a unique FIFA code a digital football passport for every individual, players and officials who have a role in football organization.
Basically, all participants were registered into the system and granted full access to carry out the registration of players and officials at their respective clubs and regional football associations.
