Report reaching this medium has reveal that a Sierra Leonean named Ibrahim Kargbo has escaped poro secret society ritual initiation process  and his whereabouts could not be traced by secret society members.

According to sources, Ibrahim Kargbo’s rejection to join the poro is connected to information tips he had gotten from those who had gone through the harmful and cruel method of initiation;  but could not survive afterwards.

Report informed this medium that Ibrahim Kargbo was forced by one of his paternal relatives, to take over his father’s rank in their village poro secret society in Kambia District, north of Sierra Leone.

However, this medium gathered that Ibrahim rejected the request made by this relative to take over his father’s footsteps due to the orthodox medium of initiation.

In Sierra Leone rejection to take over the mantle of leadership in the secre poro society is considered as a taboo and most victim who had escaped and later on recaptured have suffered fatal consequences.

The poro society is exclusively a male dominant society and government doesn’t interfere into their affairs.
