For involving into gay activities, Police Declares Ibrahim Mansaray wanted
Dr. Philip John Kanu Vice Chancellor and Principal of the Milton Margai Technical University is appearing in court with his Lecturer Tejan Sheik Rogers who had lately embroiled him in a cyber bulling case.
Lecturer Tejan Sheik Rogers is arraigned before the court on a count of cyber stalking Contrary to Section 44 (2) (b) of the Cyber Security and Crime Act 2001.
Police alledged that lecturer Tejan Sheik Rogers on a date unknown between the 1st and 31st of November 2022 in Freetown, through social media use his Whatsapp number created and posted recorded audios and text messages against Dr. Philip John Kanu which created the effect on cyby stalking and bullying by means of computer system in a WhatsApp group called “Maada Must Stay Campaign” that may likely damage his character.
Shortly after the matter was mentioned, the accused was present in court.
The prosecutor CSP Joan Bull informed the court that the prosecution had closed their case.
Defense counsel Tejan Barrie sought for a short date for them to open their case to which it was granted by the Magistrate.
The matter was adjourned to the 14th March 2025 for lecturer Tejan Sheik Rogers to be able to open his defense case.
