The struggle in the All People’s s Congress (APC) party is spreading more branches at every tick of the clock.

The people believe and have trust in the bird for credible, accurate and correct information, and that is why he is always getting persistent calls and messages from the general public by way of making enquiries as to whether the news about Sam Sumana, flying around town is anything to go by.

Many a time the wise bird would move from place to place to get correct and accurate news, so that he could not misinform the people he represents.

After a careful investigation by the brave bird, it has been revealed that, the battle, between the APC and one senior member, former Vice President Chief Sam Sumana, is  in respect of a constitutional interpretation between Chief and the party.

Competent sources have revealed that, the SAM 28 team is contemplating to go to court for an interpretation on both the 5th December 1995 and the 2022 APC party constitution.

The wise bird was fortunate to lay hands on the new APC party constitution which says, and I quote, in ‘Chapter 8 Article 81 Repeal of the 5th December, 1995 constitution’ it reads, ‘Upon the coming into force of this constitution, the constitution of the party of the 5th of December 1995 shall cease to have effect’.

Article 82 reads: Transitional Provision. (a) ‘Notwithstanding the provision in article 81, nothing done under the authority of the existing constitution shall be regarded as invalid’.

Well, this is a case for the lawyers/the court to interpret.

According to the understanding of the wise bird this provision in the constitution rings a bell, even though the bird is not a lawyer, but I also think that even a first year student at the law school will win a case like this if it goes  to court.
