Authoritative sources reaching the Africa 24 newspaper have revealed that Facilitators and Teachers of the just concluded teachers training in foundational learning have still not received their remunerations.

The program according to information was organized by the Teaching Service Commission (TSC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE).

It is also clear that, the program was mainly for teachers in foundational learning to enable them to do proper work and also to impart knowledge on the children who are the leaders of tomorrow.

After the exercise, the teachers were to receive their emoluments but up to date they have not received a single cent from neither the Teaching Service Commission nor the Ministry of Education.

The teachers are of the view that, the money must have gone into the wrong hands, and in view of that they are calling on the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to intervene on the matter. With the ACC, they hope that they will receive their monies for the work they have done in good faith.
