Abass Sankoh a Sierra Leonean who has faced uphill battles with stakeholders’ of the ‘poro’ society in a bid for him to succeed his deceased father as head; life’s is now in severe danger following his rejection to be initiated.
Abass, our sources discovered is also entangled with the Bio regime due to his many critical social media audios that always go viral.
Our source went on that, he is been sought after by the State of Sierra Leone for causing many unrest across the country.
Recently, Abass sent out an audio that angered the Maada Bio led SLPP government, were he stated that the attempted failed coup of November 26, 2023 was a ploy by the regime to target and destabilize members of the opposition.
He categorically stated that, the regime have identified opponents within the opposition APC that they want to put behind bars indefinitely.
Among the suspected coup plotters charged for misprision of treason and treason in attempting to overthrow the government of President Julius Maada Bio are former president Koroma and a host of his security details who were attached to him during his reign.
Those that are currently on treason trial is Bai Mahmoud Bangura a former minister during ex-president Koroma’s tenure and most of his security appartus like Rtd. Maj. Koita Makolo and many others.
Authorities in Sierra Leone alleged that Abass Sankoh disseminated several audios against President Bio led-SLPP government that caused lots of unrest and protests across the country especially in Freetown and the northern region of Sierra Leone that is referred to as an opposition APC strongholds.
Sources within the corridors of Police headquarters, have reliable informed the Africa24 newspaper that Abass is a wanted person for causing mayhem against the State of Sierra Leone.
However, Africa24 cannot ascertain the exact whereabouts of Abass Sankoh. Africa 24 has been reliably informed that a search party has been dispatched across Sierra Leone in search of Abass who faces long time behind bars.
Other reports monitored by Africa24 further revealed that, thugs loyal to the ruling SLPP government led by incumbent President Bio have vowed to leave no stone unturned the very day they set eyes on Abass as he would never live to tell his fatal story.
No exact location has however been disclosed where Abass is seeking for protection as we went to press.
