Twenty-seven-years-old Alie Alpha Sankoh, a bike rider and twenty-two years-old-Martha Mansaray, have appeared before Magistrate Augustine Brima Samura of Pademba Road court no.8 in Freetown.
According to the particular of offence on Saturday 18th January 2025 in Makeni Town the Bombali District in the Northern province in Freetown, the suspects conspired together with other persons unknown to commit a felony, robbery with aggravation.
Count two further, in this case, stated that on the same date and place the accused persons armed with sticks and cutlass and robbed one Mohamed Koroma the sum of nine hundred and thirteen thousand seven hundred and thirty five Leones (913,735,00) which is property of one Osman Jalloh.
Count three further stated that on the same date and place the accused persons and others assisted Alie Alpha Sankoh in carrying the act.
When the charges were read and explained to the accused persons, there was no plea taken.
The second accused person had been away for seven adjournment dates.
The prosecutor Detective Police Constable 14898 Joseph C Dumbuya was the lead person as procecutor flanked with three witnesses.
Magistrate Samura adjourned the matter to 18th June 2025 while bail will continue for the first accused person.
