The long-anticipated election of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP ) UK & IR has finally been concluded after a grotesquely swaggering show of display by various SLPP contenders.

But the grim realisation it went well with an end to the long unravelling .

Enthusiastic voters qued outside the polling Station at the Methodist Church on Walworh Road in London .

These queues on the voting date of April 26th, 2025 signifies that something special and unexpected is going to happen as  Mr. ALHAJI JALLOH is on the brink of making history.

The relentless activity of arguments, infighting, provocation and paranoia as we saw it unfolding on the dizzying day of April 26th, 2025 when Mr. ALHAJI JALLOH made a political history in London with an overwhelming relief as one of the most pivotal moments in the history of the SLPP UK & IR when he cast himself as the choice of the people.

Mr. ALHAJI  JALLOH was comfortably elected as the new chairman of the SLPP UK & IR. With his victory the support for the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP ) UK & IR has considerably surged up and his victory has found a receptive audience in the United Kingdom, and he has offered an alternative to the politics of grievance and hatred.

Confronted by a stark challenge from contenders  in the likes of Mr. David Mambu and Mr. Al Hassan Koroma, ALHAJI JALLOH focused his political campaign on the opinion of the party’s membership towards Change even though he has been accused by his rival candidates as a man that is merely the defenders of the former status quo.

Mr Alhaji Jalloh who is ready to give the SLPP UK & IR membership a fresh sense of hope and Change. He is taking the leadership of the SLPP UK & IR with a Mantra of ” Change and Reassurance”, and an opportunity to get rid of the toxicity of hatred and grievance within the Party.

The whole election exercise was conducted by Hon. Napoleon Koroma, the National Secretary General of the Sierra Leone People’s Party, and H.E. Yvonne King-Odigboh ( Deputy H.E.) Sierra Leone High Commission in London. In his vote of thanks speech, Mr. Napoleon Koroma Congratulated the newly elected Chairman Mr. Alhaji Jalloh and his elected representatives. ” Your Victory reflects the trust and Confidence of the region”  Mr. Napoleon Koroma continued admonishing the whole UK & IR membership by telling them that, the whole Country and the general membership of the Sierra Leone People’s Party looks forward to working together and achieving the the shared vision and goals for the SLPP Party.

As the newly elected Chairman of the Sierra Leone People’s Party UK & IR, Mr Alhaji Jalloh’s Victory has heralded a new era for the SLPP UK & IR hegemony with the narrative of ” ONE PEOPLE, ONE COUNTRY” and an ideological inspiration of Unity.
