On Saturday, August 17, the Rock Organization, the leading group in Tengbeh Town’s Red Pump Community, joined forces with local youths to address a pressing issue affecting their community.
The only road leading into Red Pump, once a vital infrastructure, had fallen into disrepair due to heavy rainfall and neglect over the years, and these twin-factors are severely impacting the daily lives of residents in this community.
In a significant effort to restore accessibility, the Rock Organization and the energetic youth of Red Pump collaborated on constricting the community road.
“This initiative not only aims to repair the existing road but also sets the stage for future developments,” says a a representative of Rock organization and Red Pump Youth.
The organization envisions a modernized roadway within the next two to three years, designed to enhance convenience and support the community’s growth.
“This project highlights the Rock Organization’s commitment to improving local infrastructure and their dedication to fostering community development through collaborative efforts.”
The renewed road, the youth believe, will greatly improve connectivity and ” ease of movement” by the people of Red Pump, thus marking a significant step toward a better and more accessible future.
