The Wise Bird has been getting sleepless nights for days now, because of the rising tension in the country.

Day-in-day-out tensions have been mounting in the country in respect of the anticipated outcome of the Tripartite Committee’s recommendations.

In respect of the above, the bird has been flying from town to town, district to district, chiefdom to chiefdom, section to section and village to village in order to sensitize and educate the people, particularly young people on to how to keep the peace.

Everybody knows the Wise Bird is a peace loving bird; he will not support anybody or a group of people to cause mayhem in the country.

Every Sierra Leonean including the Wise Bird should know that, Sierra Leone is the only country one can boast of having at every given time.

If anybody or a group of people is trying to bring or cause mayhem in the county, the Wise Bird will frown at those people or group of individuals.

The Wise Bird is calling on all Sierra Leoneans to keep the peace today and always. The watch word should be peace, unity and nothing more, any party or parties wanting to support any demonstration will never have the support of the Wise Bird, and they will be considered as enemy of the state, and will face the full force of the law.

The observation of the Wise Bird is that, the government is also in support of the tension in the country, by way of deploying army and police officers all over the streets of Freetown and other provincial headquarters towns, such a thing brings fear on the minds of the people.

In fact, the Wise Bird held a meeting last night with all the birds in the bird’s kingdom telling them not to support or take part in any form of demonstration either direct or indirectly.
