Defending champions, Kroo Town road community, has emerged champions for the 2023/24 Central One Football Association (COFA), an inter community football competition in Freetown.

KTR overcame Central United FC in a post-match penalty shootout at the parade ground on Saturday 9th March, 2024 in Freetown.

While the Central United team displayed excellent skills, there is room for improvement in their execution of vertical passes and in their performance within the final third of the pitch.

The said evening game kicked off on a positive note for both teams, with an intense battle unfolded throughout the match.

Despite their best efforts, neither team established full control.

Notwithstanding, Central United remained optimistic and determined to make progress at the Paraded grounds, on the Central One Football Association (COFA) inter-community league on Sunday 20th August 2023. COFA was founded in 1983 by four sports enthusiasts drawn from different walks of life and included Sammah Sesay, Jimmy Samuels (of his blessed memory) Sunday Koroma and Albert Cok.
