As the FIFA artificial turf construction project is underway, Lexons construction company is set to commence the construction of pavilions at the SLFA academy field. Through this project, club fans and all spectators will have decent sitting space to watch the upcoming Premier League season’s matches.
The pavilions will have four dressing rooms and toilet facilities for players, technical staff, officiating personnel and fans who have been assessing the field.
However, the Sierra Leone Football Academy recently reached a significant milestone in its infrastructure development with the completion of its cutting-edge artificial turf pitch at Kingtom in Freeto.
The pitch is currently fully operational with a prospect to transform the training and playing facilities for the national teams.
