Mohamed Billy Musa, a humanitarian, has donated over 25 bags of cements and other building materials to Masjid Muhammed Mosque at Peace Market, Ferry Junction in Freetown.

This gesture was done last Friday, in a bid to beefing up the status of the unfinished building Mosque at the Peace market lorry park, with specifically to roof other to create housing facilities at the park.

Mr. Billy Musa is a business tycoon and philanthropist, aiding the needy in Sierra Leone over the years.

He know that the peace market mosques has  been challenges of housing.

On recent donation, he highlighted the effort of worshippers at Masjid Muhammad community particularly in the area of being steadfast in prayers at all times.

“As a credible community, we are pleased to offer 25 bags of cement and building materials worth millions of Leones to our Muslim brothers and sisters, “We’re really proud of you; I believe the same opportunity will continue in the future,” he said.

In his reaction, Sheik Fuad Ibrahim Kamara, Chief Imam of Masjid Muhammad Mosque,  Peace Market, expressed heartfelt desire and pleasure for the wonderful aptitude shown by Mohamed Billy Musa and Co.

Adding that the services  will be fully utilized as expected by the benefactor.

“We are thrilled for this superb gift from Mr. Billy Musa, and on behalf of the Masjid Muhammad, we deeply appreciate the divine support shown,” he said.

He expressed belief that other trustworthy firms will imitate the unique work of success he a benevolent man like Mohamed Billy Musa.

Meanwhile, Umar Kamara, Chairman, Peace Market, Ferry Junction, assured pressmen that the facilities would be properly managed, adding that this year’s donation by Mr. Mohamed Billy Musa and team will make a huge difference to the Masjid Muhammad and the community as a whole.

He went on to say that despite the challenges they are having with regards access to building materials, but they hope that with the timely intervention by Mr. Billy Musa, the situation will be improved in the forthcoming periods through the power of Allah and the support of Mr. Musa.
