Our proactive investigation and reporting team across the country has unveiled to our news desk that a network has been formed by Senior Citizens of the Republic of Sierra Leone to threaten underdevelopment by advocating for more support to the Agriculture and education sectors that are Key to the speedy development of a Nation.
In an exclusive interview with the Executive Director of The Senior Citizens Network of Sierra Leone, Samuel Andrew Goba, he disclosed that the Senior Citizens Network will be officially launched on the 24th and 25th April, 2023, in Bo town, Southern Sierra Leone.
Samuel Goba furthered that the network has been formed and charged with the sole responsibility to strategize and implement methods that will guide upcoming Sierra Leonean about the history of the country and that will guide the people to respect peace and sustainable development with the basic necessities of life.
Goba further stated that Sierra Leone is among the most peaceful nations in the world and the good records are threatened by political, regional and tribal misunderstanding. Adding that, the Senior Citizens Network has been formed in Sierra Leone to closely work with all local and development partners to strengthen the negotiation and advocacy for the peaceful co-existence of the people.
The passionate Executive Director of SCN-SL assures the public that the June 24th, 2023 General Elections will be peaceful and that the Senior Citizens of Sierra Leone will do all in their powers to sustain the peace.
