Each police officer in all divisions across the country will receive six bags of rice, Sierra Leone Police (SLP) management says.
Each has got three bags this week and another three bags will be supplied next week.
“We should give six bags of rice to every police officer. We have supplied three bags, and we will supply the other three bags next week,” police management told this press.
The latest move by police management laid to rest speculations that police officers would not get their rice supply at this moment.
A female police officer, Mabinty Kamara in Freetown expressed joy for receiving her rice supply at this moment.
“I am extremely happy to to receive my three bags of rice this week. I am also quite hopeful that I will get the remaining supply next week. Thanks to the Inspector-General of Police and team,” she expressed appreciation to the police leadership. Mabinty’s joy has been shared by a great number of police officers in the country.
They jubilate with their families for a supply of rice that has come at the right time.
The rice supplier too receives similar sentiments of good will for the quality rice.
The move by the SLP high command is to motivate police officers deliver effective security service to the people of Sierra Leone.
