The Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA), under the leadership of Director General Mr. Yankuba Askia Bio, has introduced a new corporate dress code for its female staff.
This happened on Monday 3rd February, 2025.
SLPHA says the initiative aims to enhance professionalism, promote a unified corporate identity, and reflect the port’s commitment achieving to excellence.
During the unveiling ceremony, Mr. Bio emphasized that the new dress code aligns with the SLPHA’s vision of maintaining high workplace standards while ensuring a balance between style, comfort, and professionalism.
He noted that the move was part of broader reforms to improve workplace culture and efficiency.
The female staff welcomed the initiative, expressing appreciation for the Authority’s efforts to create a more structured and professional working environment. The new dress code has come into effect immediately, reinforcing the SLPHA’s image as a modern and progressive institution.
