The Wise Bird is loved by those who stand for the truth and love Mama Salone.

It is natural that, one cannot expect to be loved by everybody except otherwise, and so the Wise Bird is very much comfortable with those that love the country.

Some say the Wise Bird is very much inquisitive; but others opposed this view, saying they are getting correct, accurate and undisputable information from the bird.

It is no secret that everybody will agree with the Wise Bird that in the 2018 campaign time before the election, all political parties were putting their cards on the table for the people of Sierra Leone to see.

It is rather unfortunate that all the parties in parliament-those who won and those who did not win do not love this country by their way of doing things and their utterances.

The ruling party SLPP was campaigning under the pretext that if voted in power Sierra Leone will be a paradise, little did the people know it was all a sham.

The Wise Bird could recall that, the SLPP was strongly campaigning against the construction of the Toll-Road, saying it was more a burden on the people of Sierra Leone, and were against the Karpowership as they blamed the past government that the amount it was paying to the Turkish company was too much for the people of Sierra Leone.

Today, one of Bio’s Ministers was quoted as saying the Toll-Road was one of the best contracts ever signed by the past government-what a shame to admit in approval for something you had condemned whist in opposition.

On the Karpowership, when they were in opposition they blamed the past government that the amount negotiated was too much; now being the ruling government themselves they renegotiated and reduced the amount but still the people cannot get light even upon the renegotiation and subsequent reduction of the amount; what a shame again!

A lot of other things they had condemned before are now at work under their watch (SLPP).

Leema was talking about gov’t reckless spending as opposition figure then, today the people see more reckless spending than before in his government; JJ Saffa known for his bread and butter couldn’t turn things around-all of their campaign rhetorics were sham.

The Wise Bird can say without hesitation that, the SLPP did not live up to the expectations of the people, and their campaign messages were completely wrong; they cannot control prices of essential commodities in the country, and the cost of transportation is nothing to write home about.

The people of Sierra Leone including the Wise Bird have not seen a single change; the situation is worse than it was before the advent of the SLPP.

The Wise Bird is in sympathy with all those who were dancing when the controversial result was announced.
