Bra Parrot is still moving the length and breadth of the country to sound the views of people from all walks of life about the political situation in the country.

The brave bird is not only patriotic, but looks at things and calls them by their correct names in the best interest of ‘Mama Salone’.

Sometimes people accused Bra Parrot of being partisan, meaning that, the brave bird is supporting a political party.

The unfortunate part is, the brave bird did not register and as a result will not vote. But will closely follow the process when the time comes.

Bra Parrot has been sounding the views of people in both the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) and the All Peoples Congress (APC) party about the functions of their elected executive and how they are manning their parties

What came out clearly is that, the newly elected Secretary General of APC, the main opposition party, Lawyer Lansana Dumbuya is not working closely with the people that elected him to office.

The latest information Bra Parrot got from the public is that the APC Secretary General, Lansana Dumbuya Esq. is not answering to calls coming from the public.

To confirm this allegation, the brave bird is without a cell phone and, the brave bird lent a cell phone from a friend and dialed the phone number of the APC Secretary General.

Bra Parrot made several calls to 078-159434 which according to Bra Parrot’s friend is the phone number of the APC National Secretary General.

The brave bird did not stop there, but flew all the way to the APC Headquarters to get more information about Mr. Dumbuya and, what the brave bird got from the people at the APC head office is  appalling.

The brave bird was very much disappointed to hear such revelations from senior party members and loyal supporters about Mr. Dumbuya’s bad habit.

Bra Parrot started to imagine that when certain people want power, they are very close to the ordinary man but immediately power is entrusted to them, they turned their backs against those that chose them to the power.

Mr. Secretary General, it is just too early, if only the allegations are true, as the brave bird had also proved them, you have to open up. After sometimes, the brave bird rang his phone again for the third time on the same line but fruitless, the brave bird was left with no option but to state that, “the owner of 078-159434 does not answer phone calls.”

Anyways, the brave bird is not making a case for anybody but just thinking aloud by way of calling things by their correct and proper names.

Bra Parrot also noticed that, a behavior of this nature is not only limited to the APC Secretary General, but a very good number of people in authority behaves the same way.

Bra Parrot is warning by way of advising all those in power to be answering phone calls because some calls are important to them or any member of their family.

As Bra Parrot was about to go out, his friend, the Eagle came in for a visit and, as they were discussing, the Eagle drew the attention of Bra Parrot to a statement made by the current Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Professor David Francis when the SLPP assumed power in 2018.

Professor David Francis referred to all APC Ministers as thieves (Anyampis) and said that even a blind person will find all of them guilty of corruption.

What Bra Parrot noticed is the same corrupt ministers in the likes of Alpha Khanu, Victor Foh, Musa Tarawallie were all part of the corrupt APC system, and the same corrupt ministers are now with the SLPP’s New Direction, this is the reason the SLPP is corrupt these days.
