It could be recalled that, few days ago some pictures were circulating on social media on how houses of Sierra Leoneans in Guinea were destroyed by some Guinean authorities.

In retaliation, some members of the police and Military forces and some civilians took upon themselves to raid and arrest Fullahs in Sierra Leone as alleged.

The most respected animal did an investigation on the so-called allegations, and found out that, it was indeed correct.

The bird, in totality, condemns the indiscriminate arrest and detention of our Fullah brothers and Sisters in the country.

For all you know maybe the President, Inspector General of the Sierra Leone, is not even aware of that ugly incident that took place on that day.

The bird as a peace loving animal condemns the raid launched by whosoever must have done so to the annoyance of the government.

The question the brave bird wants to ask is who actually had ordered the raid/arrest of the Fullahs?

The Wise Bird is expecting an investigation into the matter so that the public will actually know the cause of the incident.

The Bird is not in any way supporting what the Guineans authorities allegedly did to Sierra Leoneans residing in Guinea, only that the bird will never be a party to any wrong doings.

The question is will retaliation solve any problem between the two countries? No.A big No.

However, the bird was reliably informed that, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Timothy Musa Kabbah has issued a formal statement by way of apologizing to the Fullahs Community in Sierra Leone for the ugly incident that befell their brothers and sisters.

The Minister was very clear in saying that, the President had not instructed anybody to target a specific group of people in the country and that Guinea and Sierra Leone are sister nations.

The bird is hoping that, all those responsible must be brought to book for their wrong actions and if that is not done, it will mean something is wrong somewhere.

The most respected animal will never condone anybody or group of people to behave in such a reckless manner by way of giving a sitting government what is referred to as BAD NAME.

The bird is of the view that, government will try to nip anything that will be tantamount to bringing “bad blood” between the two nations.
