“The All People’s Congress will not trade the party for coco yebeh.”
This statement was made by the Secretary General of the APC, Lansana Dumbuya, on Sunday 15th December 2024 in Kono District.
As part of the APC Party leadership’s nationwide campaign for peace, unity, reconciliation, and membership mobilization, the party’s National Secretary-General, Lansana Dumbuya Esq., addressed party members, supporters, and executives in Kono District.
During his speech, Dumbuya vehemently dispelled series of rumours and falsehoods being circulated by certain bloggers on social media against the executive.
He emphasized the importance of truth and unity within the party, thereby calling on members to reject divisive tactics.
Lansana Dumbuya Esq. also urged members and supporters of the party to actively participate in the ongoing APC membership registration and verification drive.
He noted that while some individuals are discouraging others from registering, they are secretly registering themselves behind closed doors.
“This is the time for every committed party member to step up and ensure they are part of the movement for change.
Do not let misinformation and deceitful manipulations to keep you from playing your party membership, ”
Lansana Dumbuya said.
Many party grassroots supporters are holding different views on what the executive are doing.
Grassroots supporters said instead the executive are joining Dr Samura Kamara in the fight for electoral justice, as they are going across the country to support against what they call illegal regime in governance.
Currently, supporters are calling for unity between Dr Kamara and the executive.
