Many a time, people class the oldest bird in this republic as problematic or trouble maker because he is quick to see things and point them out, for people concerned to take immediate action.

But he is not concerned about their opposing views because for those who know him well or conversant with his track record can attest to the fact that he is a true patriot who loves nothing more than the development of this republic.

Like Parrot has severally reported at different occasions the All People’s Congress (APC) party being the largest opposition has continued to grapple with constitutional issues and the party hierarchy have still not been able to resolve them so that a level playing field will be created for every member to freely participate in party activities.

Before this time, there were rumors that, the party will be holding what they referred to as a mini convention aimed at resolving all constitutional matters so that, a level playing field will be created.

But of late, the bird saw a public notice dated 22nd April 2025 signed by the National- Secretary General of the party.

In that public notice, Bra Parrot noticed that, no mention was made about the much talked about ‘MINI-CONVENTION’ to iron out all burning issues within the party, all what he saw was timetable for lower-level conventions and elections.

This situation however made the bird starts to wonder about the seriousness of the APC party.

However, the bird stands to be corrected it is maybe he did not understand the arrangement of the timetable.

In any case, if the party chooses to settle their constitutional matters well and good or if they choose otherwise that’s their business altogether because the Parrot has nothing to lose or gain.

Some people especially those who hate the truth might say, the wise bird is fermenting problem, but he believes only the low-minded supporters who do not want peace within the party will think on that line.

For all what the bird knows is that he is well known for calling things by their correct and proper names, because he always wants to see peace and tranquility reign in all the political parties and the country in general for development to thrive, which is why whenever he notice any wrong thing, he will be the first to raise an alarm for those concerned to take remedial actions.

The bird as usual went out to sound the views of sound- minded people on the issue, and all those he contacted expressed the same views he shared that, the APC is far from seriousness.

According to the people, APC is not yet ready or prepared for the 2028 elections. This situation has prompted them to ask their party hierarchy whether there will be a mini convention before the national delegates’ convention.

However, the bird is waiting to see whether another notice will be issued in relation to the much talked about MINI-CONVENTION.
