Very big thanks to God Almighty for saving the brave bird’s life yesterday, when the storm took over the city.
At the time the storm started, the brave bird had just left the Cotton Tree, it usual sitting place to visit a friend.
It was as if the brave bird knew that, it usual sitting place (Cotton Tree) will be brought down by heavy storm, thanks for God’s direction.
When the news broke out that the historic Cotton Tree had fallen down, the brave bird flew quickly from where the brave bird was to see and get first-hand information about what has happened.
On arrival at the place, Bra Parrot saw the great historic tree on the ground on Siaka Stevens street with on lookers and passers-by around the tree.
The brave bird overheard people saying that “this is the usual sitting place of the great Bra Parrot and, now that the Cotton Tree is down, maybe Bra Parrot will find another location to be sitting.”
As the brave bird was contemplating what to do next, an idea came to mind that other trees are around the area.
Bra Parrot was sympathetic with some of his friends that fallen victim of the storm, the bats and other birds.
Bra Parrot will be visiting some of his friends that survived the storm to make necessary arrangements for those that did not survive.
By and large, that will not stop Bra Parrot from asking questions relating to the development of the State.
Few days back, the brave bird started asking questions that are very important, those questions will be asked at all time so that those in authority will hear and maybe will be in position to answer if not all but few.
This time round, Bra Parrot is asking the main opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) party.
- Is the APC ready and willing to win the elections come June 24th 2023?
- Is it true a good number of senior members of the APC are not in support of Dr. Samura’s Candidacy?
- Is it true that few days to election the APC is still not united?
- By the way, is Dr. Samura Kamara the right person to lead the party to election?
- Is it true that Dr. Samura and his handpicked running mate are not in speaking terms?
- What is Alhaji Foday Yansaneh doing in Dr. Samura’s campaign team?
- Is it true that this same man (Pa Yasaneh) has succeeded in dividing the APC party at his own advantage?
- Is Hon. Kombor Kamara the right person to be campaign manager for Dr. Samura?
- By the way what are the possible gains that, Dr. Samura has made since he was elected as flagbearer and Leader?
- Is it true that Dr. Richard Conteh was present at a meeting were the decision was reached for no public rallies by PPRC?
- Did APC elect the right Secretary General?
- Is there no other person in the APC to hold the position of Publicity Secretary unless the old guys?
- Is it true that former President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma has been remote controlling all the activities in the APC?
- Is it also true that the former President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma wants to make a comeback?
- When will APC launch its manifesto?
- Is it also true that the question of ID cards the APC raised had died a natural death unresolved?
- What are people hoping to see on May 30th, the first day of APC campaign?
- What has been the outcome of the petition of the constitution of Sierra Leone that Mr. Paul M. Kamara and Rev. Alimamy Coleson Turay filed against Dr. Samura’s candidacy?
The brave bird has a lot of questions for both parties, (SLPP/APC) and those questions will be answered as and when necessary.
