The Wise Bird is always in sympathy with President Julius Maada Bio when it comes to issues of national interest.
Since he took over the Ministry of Energy, the story is still the same as it was before his intervention.
So the bird asks what was the reason for his intervention? Can anyone tell the Wise Bird?
Thank God, the Wise Bird is not the President of Sierra Leone and if, indeed, he was, he should not come out in the open to say as President that he was going to take over the Ministry of Energy.
What he should have done was that he would have been behind the scene to supervise the activities in the Ministry rather than coming out in the open to say that he had taken over the Ministry of Energy but when the people are still in darkness since he took up the forte.
The unfortunate part of it all is or was since he took over the Ministry as Minister no improvement is seen as the situation continues to deteriorate steadily more than before.
If only Mr. President had consulted the Wise Bird, he should have devised a method for so that he would not have got this bad name he is getting now from the public.
The President is the Minister but still there’s no light in the capital Freetown.
From the look of things, at the moment, the light situation is worse than before.
The Wise Bird is also in sympathy with the people who were in jubilation over the assumption of the President as Minister of Energy.
Even though it was alleged that, government had made part payment to the Karpowership yet the people are still in darkness particularly in the eastern part of the capital Freetown.
Was the President’s taking over the Ministry of Energy necessary at all?
To many it was not at all necessary because the situation is still the same as it was before he had come in.
The Wise Bird spoke to a few people on the streets of Freetown, and some said the President ‘just kam fen bad name for e sef’.
For mak light kam na the city now nor to small tin ooo.
