Like all other districts, Kambia stands out as one of the districts that is suffering from development project ranging from roads, health, education and many more.
What is in fact more heartrending, is some locals explained is the perineal problem of deplorable roads in the district.
Mariama Jalloh, a health officer in Rokrima Bana village said the terrible condition of their roads have not only dampened their economic activities in the community but also disturbing the education of theoir chilsdren and posing serious health problems in their community.
Jalloh attributed the terrible roads as a neglect in the side of the central government.
“Since the Bio regime came to governance, there is no tangible road construction in not only Kambia district but the region as a whole.
She therefore called on the council and central government to help improve their feeder roads in the region.
“This district has been unanimous to vote for this Bio regime and we have landmark of such political solidarity for President Bio,” she asserted.
Joseph Kamara, who attended the commissioning of the health clinic at Rokrima Bana village also spoke of the need to save the people from such pathetic situation which he said has inflicted sufferings in the region.
Kamara also called on the council to stepup their development activities in the district.
“Roads from Kambia to Masumgbala and other Chiefdoms are not only terrible but they are deathtraps for travelers,” he stated.
Hon AKK has also spoken on the suffering his people are facing in the region which he attributed to the poor management of the government of President Bio.
