Many a time corrupt, selfish and dishonest people always refer to the wise bird as inquisitive and hypocrite animal because he always calls things by their proper names at the right time and at the right place.

Because of his uncompromising stands, the people have shown love and have confidence in whatever he says.

If anybody want he calls it inquisitive, but all Bra Parrot knows is that he will continue to bring out the ills of this nation for the benefit of the entire citizenry devoid of politics.

For those who are following the activities of Bra Parrot can attest to the fact that this is not the first time the most respected animal has been talking about the poor road network and traffic congestions in the city that is mostly caused by traffic police officers.

Quite apart from traffic trouble, there are other problems the people of this municipality are still grappling with which are the never ending electricity and water supply woes.

Of late the bird has also been talking about the millions of potholes in the city and the erection of railings at Sani Abacha Street to prevent traders from selling at the middle of the street.

As the bird was flying around the central business district (CBD), he noticed that 45-50% of the railings have fallen down, making it very difficult for pedestrians to walk on the road.

As the bird doesn’t know all, he flew to many quarters to get the views of people.

Almost all those he spoke with expressed dissatisfaction over the attitude of some of the government functionaries, particularly the Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA), the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA), the Guma Valley Water Company (GVWC) and many more for doing absolutely nothing.

They therefore told the bird to tell the Sierra Leone Roads Safety Authority (SLRSA) to remove their fallen railings at Sani Abacha Street to avoid unnecessary damage to those walking on the Street.

It is no secret that, a lot of media houses have been reporting about the potholes, the railings at Sani Abacha Street and a lot of other odds particularly in the city.

Government has not been paying attention to all the reports of the press.

The bird could say without hesitation that the government has little or no respect for the press because many a time some government functionaries refer to members of the press as irresponsible people and that they sometime write nothing but nonsense.

Papa government, please try to listen to the press, because it knows what the government does not know.

The bird will never stop to tell the people about the evil in our society.
