The Wise Bird has been following the activities and operations of the company of the ‘WAKA FINE’ buses, and the behaviors of the drivers and the conductors.
What beats the imagination of the people was that before the arrival of the buses it was heavily trumpeted that the buses are government owned. But after some time, it was clear that, the buses are not owned by the government.
What made the situation went out of hands was when the price was slated at Nle 10 per person to ply pole-to-pole.
The Wise Bird noticed that, at first the people had refused to use the buses, but later when they knew the buses are not owned by the government, gradually people started to become accustom to them.
At first the buses were plenty on the road, but the number has lately been reduced to the disadvantage of the general public.
The Wise Bird does not use the buses because the bird has better wings to fly from east to west to get to its usual seating place at every given time.
The Wise Bird loves his people and do not want them to suffer and that is more the reason he is appealing to management for an increase of the number of buses on the road.
The Wise Bird has been seeing long queues at bus station, PZ, Eastern police and the other areas of bus stop.
What beats the imagination of the bird was and still is the method of selling tickets to passengers and the behavior of the conductors in the buses.
The Wise Bird was at PZ when he saw one of the conductors in the bus playing some funny games on the tickets and that was when a lady bought a ticket instead of cutting the ticket as usual. The conductor gave the lady an old ticket that had been already cut, holding on to the new ticket to his advantage. It was observed that some people do not ask for ticket after given the Nle 10.
The Wise Bird will continue to monitor the situation and will start to name names.
