When the wise bird got the news that a female candidate is aspiring for the position of President in the upcoming Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) the bird became very much excited.

The bird has been following the activities of the football family in the country for years.

The bird cannot point at anything to show that the football family has done as development in the area of football.

The bird has been reliably informed that, Madam Aminata Bangura has declared her intension to challenge the two heavy-Wights, the incumbent Thomas Daddy Brima and Babadi Kamara.

It is important to note that the male President of the Association has failed this nation in the area of football.

This time around the football family should try another woman to head the Association.

This nation has witnessed the days of Isha Johanson when she was President of the Association, the gains she made.

The bird was also informed that apart from the current President and his challenger Babadi Kamara, more names have come up for the same position, and they include: Umar Bah of Real Republicans and the current manager of the home-based Leone Stars, is also interested.

The bird will not even hesitate to say that, men have failed to do the needful in the football family, and so this time let’s try another woman.

The bird went out to sound the views of people in respect of Aminata’s aspirations who wish to be President of SLFA.

About 65% of those the bird contacted expressed support of a woman to be President of SLFA.

According to them, they have seen what a woman has done when she was SLFA President.

It must be clearly understood that the wise bird has no connection with Madam Aminata=the bird does not know her, only that, the bird wants to see improvement in every facets of society.
