Information has reached this medium that a youth chairman at Masingbi is depriving the youth in so many facilities.

A bike rider told Africa 24 news that they are fed up with their chairman whose name could not be identified by the rider.

“He is the only one that is enjoying the opportunities that are meant for Masingbi and for us, the youth,” said the bike rider.

Masingbi, which is in the north-Tonkolili District, is lacking several developments such as electricity, tap water, good roads within the township, quality schools, community centres, standard markets, fine and equipped hospitals, football playgrounds, etc.

Over these deprived opportunities, the bike rider says the money that is usually given for development of the town and for the youth is not used for its purpose.

He said the youth chairman is using that money to benefit himself and his family.

“We don’t see him use the money most of our guys are talking about to change the lives of us the youth. Instead he is enriching himself by building houses or buying more bikes (okadas). I do not even know his name,” said the motorist rider.
