Recent reports monitored by Africa24 investigative team have revealed that a Sierra Leonean Alusine Deen Sesay; a popular sports personality and former All People’s Congress (APC) party youth chairman who was based in Kenema in the heartland of the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) and host of other APC supporters who were chased immediately after the 2018 elections lives are in severe danger.

According to our investigations, it is revealed that Alusine Deen Sesay and his cohorts are been accused of playing active parts by causing unrest since 2018 to date following president Julius Maada Bio’s assumption to power as head of state of Sierra Leone.

Reports stated that Alusine Deen Sesay whilst serving as APC youth chairman during the reins of former president Koroma at the stronghold of SLPP in the Kenema district was always in bitter confrontation with SLPP supporters whom sources claimed was spared at the time when APC was in power.

However, when SLPP was declared winner of the 2018 elections all perceived supporters of APC and their family members were physically chased out of the SLPP strongholds. Reports added that, most of these APC loyal members lives became unsafe and had no alternative but to relocate to safer places.

Alusine and others, our sources discovered are also entangled with the Bio regime due to their many critical social media audios that always go viral.

Our source went on that, Alusine and others are been sought after by the State of Sierra Leone for causing many unrest across the country.

Following the attempted failed coup of November 26, 2023 Alusine and others are accused to have played a part to destabilize the State of Sierra Leone.

Among the suspected coup plotters charged for misprision of treason and treason in attempting to overthrow the government of President Julius Maada Bio are former president Koroma and a host of his security details who were attached to him during his reign.

Those that are currently on treason trial are Bai Mahmoud Bangura a former minister during ex-president Koroma’s tenure and most of his security apparatus like Rtd. Maj. Koita Makolo and many others.

Sources within the corridors of Police headquarters, have reliably informed the Africa24 newspaper that Alusine and others are wanted person(s) for causing mayhem against the State of Sierra Leone.

On March 23, 2024 a former APC organizing secretary Abubakarr Boxx Conteh who relocated to neighboring Guinea in 2018 was extradited, arrested and now in detention accused to have sponsored renegades to topple president Bio on November 26, 2023.

Reports further added that all those perceived to have any involvement in the November26, 2023 coup as well as those APC supporters who are on the run will be sought after to face the consequences for attempting to destabilize the state of Sierra Leone.

However, Africa24 cannot ascertain the excat whereabouts of Alusine Deen Sesay. Africa 24 has been reliably informed that a search party have been dispatched across Sierra Leone in search of Alusine and others who may face long time behind bars.

Other reports monitored by Africa24 further revealed that, thugs loyal to the ruling SLPP government led by incumbent President Bio have vowed to leave no stone unturned the very day they set eyes on Alusine and others accused.

No exact location has however been disclosed where Alusine and other fugitive are seeking protection.
