The Wise  Bird is presently finding it very difficult to understand the dynamics politicians are playing these days in terms of  being  ‘dishonest’ to themselves and the people they claimed to be serving.

Day-in-day-out people are in a confused state of affairs owing to the negative things that are unfolding about them the politicians the people have entrusted with the affairs of the state.

Their behaviors and attitudes, the politicians, give reason for the people to hate them  at every tick of the clock.

The brave bird has been very much disturbed when certain revelations are being made about some leaders in society.

The most respected animal will ‘bet his neck’ for the Publicity Secretary of the main opposition, APC party, who’s one of the most responsible and straight forward gentle-man in the society today.

Allegations and counter allegations have been levied against some senior members of the APC party but none of them have the courage to do what the Publicity Secretary has done to save or rather clear his name and family name.

The Wise Bird saw on social media the APC National Publicity Mr. Sidi Yaya Tunis explaining to the public about all the in- house meetings held before, during and after the tripartite committee.

Among other things Mr. Tunis gave a detailed explanation on what went on within the party and its members.

According to Mr. Tunis when the presidential results were announced, there was very serious disagreement by almost all senior members of the APC.

He said they reached a decision that they must wait for the leader Dr. Samura before anything was to be done.

According to him, they were all expecting a re-run of the election, stressing that that was their position before going to the Bintumani hall for the peace talks.

He further stated that, Dr. Samura and President Maada Bio held a secret meeting and agreed that they should put all election issues behind them and move forward as a people.

They also agreed that all the going back and forth should end by September 15th 2023 and that they should sit and agree as Sierra Leoneans; that Mr. President Bio and Dr. Samura that they should not involve international mediators President Bio.

The Wise Bird also understood from what Mr. Tunis said that President Bio and Dr. Samura had agreed to meet again after consultations with his party members.

Mr. Tunis also stated that, the last National Advisory Committee (NAC) meeting was very important but unfortunately Dr. Samura had failed to attend the said meeting.

He said at one time, the Chairman of the party Hon. Minkailu Mansary refused to sign a document because of the serious disagreement amongst the members on certain issues.

At one time, Tunis recounted, they went to Makeni to meet the former President Ernest Bai Koroma to talk on certain issues in the party.

He also stated that, Dr. Samura had accepted President Bio as the President ever since.

The bird will continue to bring more of what Mr. Tunis had been saying of late.
