The people of this country love the Wise Bird for his honesty, sincerity and steadfastness in handling sensitive issues of national interest.

The Wise Bird is not known for telling lies or known to have involved in any criminal act and or putting his credibility into disrepute like other State-men do.

  There is no way can anybody or a group of individuals can point a finger at the decent, patriotic, fearless and uncompromising animal of a wrongdoing.

The most respected animal will never conduct an election that will be surrounded with controversies to the annoyance of the entire nation.

The most respected bird flies from place to place in order to get first-hand information on issues.

This time the Wise Bird was watching a video clip posted on social media; it is a fact that, not everything posted on social media is correct, but when it goes with a video clip, one has the right to take it with some amount of seriousness.

The Wise Bird saw a video clip on Pa addressing a cross section of Paramount Chiefs and he was talking about ‘suck-air’, he went further to say that, ‘elections are over no more elections until 2028’.

The Pa did not stop at that he went further to threaten that anybody coming with bullet will be sent back with bullet, and this means what? The Wise Bird had asked himself.

The Wise Bird was shocked to have heard such a statement from the father of the nation as some amount of fear was put in the brave bird’s mind.

The brave bird said if I can escape the bullets maybe my friend, the Eagle might not be able to escape it.

The Wise Bird went out to get the views of people in respect of the statement made by the father of the nation.

As usual the first port of call was the Sierra Leone people’s party (SLPP) office, to get the views of his own party supporters, and those the brave bird met in the office expressed disappointment over the statement saying as father of the nation he should not have said what he had said in public.

Some of the SLPP supporters described the statement as unfortunate and that he is already creating a situation of fear in the minds of the people, meaning they said, he is ready to eliminate anybody including us and the birds.

The Wise Bird did not stop at the office of the SLPP; the brave bird flew to the office of the main opposition the APC to sound their views.

According to those the Wise Bird contacted said they are not surprised and that, the Pa is used to; so these words are in no means a surprise to them.

The Wise Bird went back quickly to his usual seating place, and in the process of going he met his friend the Eagle and as they were discussing the Wise Bird asked the Eagle whether he had seen the video clip on social media where the Pa said bullet for bullet?

The Eagle replied: ‘this is the reason am here, the statement put me into fear,’ the Eagle continued to speak, ‘at a time like these, those coming with bullets will be returned with bullets?’ ‘Wow!’

The Eagle cannot managed his emotion he said the ‘Pa nor try ooo’ as father of the nation; such words should have come from another quarter not from the Pa himself, and meaning the people are not safe, he cried.

The Wise Bird was able to manage his emotion and kept quiet.
