Ibrahim Wurie, a pupil made his first appearance before Magistrate Augustine Brima Samura of Pademba Road Court No.4 in Freetown on a count charge of larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence, on Wednesday 7th May, 2025 at #49 Berwick Street in the western area of Freetown, stole the sum of one thousand two hundred leones (1,200) property of Isata Lamarana Jalloh.

Counsel representing the accused person A.R Gbla Esq. applied for bail for and on behalf of the accused person that he is a Sierra Leonean resident within the jurisdiction that he has reliable sureties who are willing and ready to go into recognizance on his behalf, and that he will not interfere with prosecution witness or witnesses. He made his application pursuant to section 79 (3) of the Criminal Procedure Act No.32 of 1965.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Samura granted the accused bail in the sum of five thousand leones with one surety in like sum and should be originally resident in Freetown and that the surety should produce valid identity card depicting his or her address in Freetown surety should produce a valid national passport or national identity card depicting his or her address in Freetown and bail to be approved by the Deputy Assistant Registrar and matter adjourned to 2nd June, 2025.
