The Chairman of Africell Group, Mr. Ziad Dalloul, of the leading telecoms network in Sierra Leone, has signed a strong partnership with Samsung mobile company.
The event took place at Lor Restaurant, on the peninsular highway-Juba in Freetown, on Tuesday March 12, 2024. The event attracted prominent personalities from all walks of life.
The participants witnessed the colourful program with the view to seeing a realization of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two companies. The Master of Ceremony (MC) for the well-attended occasion was the Marketing Manager at Africell, John Konteh.
He noted that the partnership event marked a special day for all Africell network users at home and abroad.
Their progress, he said, is showcased due to Africell’s outstanding track-record over the years.
Konteh confirmed that it is time for self-assessment on the leading campaign on mobile network and internet connectivity in the world.
The most reliable and innovative telecoms network in Sierra Leone, Africell SL hosted the global business stakeholders in the signing of an MOU with Samsung.
In his statement, the Managing Director of Samsung, Lucker Lee assured Africell subscribers and the people of Sierra Leone that they will enjoy better facilities through mobile network connectivity.
“We are ready to extending our data experience, confidence, reliability and affordability for the needy. We are committed to doing more in order to promote good internet service in [Sierra Leone],” he assured. Samsung is known for its unblemished reputable of guaranteeing customers’ satisfaction to its many global mobile users.
Speaking during the session, Mohamed Sheriff Bah, Head of Growth Watu International Business, said Samsung products are affordable and strong, adding that Watu is ready to bringing Sierra Leoneans closer to Samsung to help them afford Samsung products across the country.
“Students will be able to grab Samsung products; you can afford a Samsung phone if you have Africell sim and Afrimoney. As a business provider, we are running a society of cashless finance, our responsibility is to promote the lives of the needy class…”he said.
The Management Director of Africell Gerjawi, said the company is providing internet facilities.
He said Watu and Samsung will provide the phones for customers for just Le 17,000, adding that Africell is highly passionate and willing to cooperate with the government at all times thus making their commitments to inspiring the lives of Sierra Leoneans and others across the globe.
