The Member of Parliament from Tonkolili District Hon. Aruna Papay Solomon Larkoh has given a stern warning to the youths of Tonkolili district regarding Kush smoking by youth.
“The future of our next generation is under threat, Kush is destructive and it is killing young people”.
Hon. Papay Larkoh made the submissions when addressing tens of thousands of students at the Magburaka town field.
Hon. Larkoh Kush said the narcotic has caused serious setback to the future; he therefore warned youths not to partake in drug abuse but rather to desist from it.
The MP further said that Sierra Leone is currently crying as thousands of youth are languishing in the streets due to Kush consumption.
“Let’s work as one people to fight these drugs that are killing our youthful population,” he called on Sierra Leoneans.
He maintained that they must do everything humanly possible to cut down the spread of chain of the drug.
The MP implores all the students not to partake in sniffing Kush as their future depends on their academic output.
“Our brothers are dying. We are all victims, and we should be champions in the fight to eradicate Kush in Sierra Leone,” he said.
