The Sierra Leonean international, Mustapha Bundu, has signed a three-year deal with German second division club Hannover 96 after opting not to renew his contract with Plymouth Argyle in England.
Bundu, who scored 11 goals last season for Argyle, is now set to pour his football attacking talents to the second Bundesliga tier.
“We are very happy that we were able to convince Mustapha of our commitment during our discussions and that he has chosen Hannover 96 and our path despite various other options in England and Germany,” Marcus Mann managing director of Hannover 96 stated.
Bundu’s move came after a successful two-year stint at Plymouth, where he finished as the team’s second top scorer, just one goal behind Ryan Hardie, who recently transferred to Wrexham for a reported £700,000. Hannover 96, which finished ninth in the 2024/25 season, welcomes Bundu as they look to strengthen their team.
