In a parliament awash with murky political interests and bribery, Is there any hopefulness from our elected members of parliament we called honourable?
Indeed our parliament is the grooming ground for corruption, and our members of parliament are the most problematic people to our vital national Unity.
The people of Sierra Leone will have to cope with the consequences of their honourable representatives in the national parliament as the ostensible controversy of our members of parliament being corrupt is a synthetic acquisition whipped up by the people of Sierra Leone because of the historic affinity of corruption where elected members of parliament are looking for back- kick ways in the New Direction Establishment. What our MPs are getting in mortgaging their integrity?
The great and complicated question railing through the minds of Sierra Leoneans is the fractious argument about our members of parliament whose ability of democratic politics to shape our country is battered beyond repair.
Their simplistic plan isn’t really about representing their constituents people but misrepresenting them in the House of Parliament with a litany of corruption and with politics so polarised with misrepresentation and a reputational decline of orderliness and integrity, which may not be in the likes of every Sierra Leonean taste of politics.
Our members of parliament in Sierra Leone have been giving a disappointing picture of their entitlement role as MPs with a total lack of competence and patriotism. The people of Sierra Leone deserve and expect better from their members of parliament (MP).
The democracy of our members of parliament in Sierra Leone is a Self Profit – driving enterprise. They manufactured the Corruption in the country, and they lack the candour to be a member of parliament. These wobbly MPs only care about themselves rather than the struggling masses who want to hear an optimistic message from their MPs.
An effective and patriotic member of parliament always needs an emotional connection with the people they are representing. But our current MPs are not fit for purpose and in any way helping the image of the New Direction Establishment in its Corruption fight, and they are putting our democracy in darkness by bringing Corruption into the wells of parliament, which is a grubby tragedy.
Our members of parliament never considered their reputations as honourable people but as MPs of dead rhetoric. They have an integrity problem stymied by their rhetorical failings with a lack of credibility and Coherence.
Their default character settings have been all about their mishap and corruption scandal, full of flailing anger, sprawling politics of grievance, and Partisan resentment towards the president and his agenda. Indeed our members of parliament (MPs )have lost confidence in their principles as representatives of the electorates.
The problem of Corruption in Sierra Leone Will only be tackled when the president Rtd. Brigadier Julius Maada Bio tackles it more robustly and effectively. If not, the public confidence in the members of parliament is short of integrity, which has undermined the patriotism of the people’s representatives in the House of Parliament.
The establishment of the New Direction Government of President Bio is flying blind on the levels of Corruption by members of parliament who are perpetrating toxic and despicable Crimes against the people of Sierra Leone.
The risk of Corruption and bribery among the members of parliament was ever-present, and politicians simply overlooked it; by so doing, the bond of trust and integrity that knit us together as a civilised country will be jeopardised.
Our members of parliament in Sierra Leone are now in a habitual violation of their rules of conduct, which shows that their sleazy cloth of politics has been unravelling from the start of their tenure as MPs.
The big question now is, what’s the future direction for our members of parliament when they have been wallowing in sleaze in the house of parliament? The behaviour and conduct of our members of parliament should be scrutinized, or does it mean one rule for them and one rule for the rest of the electorates?
Our democracy is really in danger in the hands of our members of parliament who are engaged in “Pork-barrel” politics in an attempt to woo bribery from the ruling government with incentives, which is a shameful contempt for decency and reputational integrity.
These dishonourable politicians have left indelibly stained characters in the House of Parliament with an endemic Corruption that has plagued our political system along with the wavering public trust.
Indeed there is a desperate need for a Clean-up in our House of Parliament. When we glimpse the sordid behaviour of our members of parliament who see politics as a Pathway to a rapid Self-enrichment demonstrated by personal greed that corroded the reputation of our members of parliament and the country at large.
These systemic flaws in our House of Parliament need to be tackled to salvage the New Direction Government of President Rtd. Brigadier Julius Maada Bio. The president should defend the reputation of our parliament and caution against the behaviour of our politicians who have engaged in a toxic system whereby the members of parliament enjoy a parasitic relationship with their status that enables them to obtain wealth through their status as members of parliament.
Our House of Parliament has now become a looting house run by dishonourable members of parliament who have retreated from the standards of honest and competent politicians, into the robe dressing of bribery and Corruption with plenty of blame.
Is it the perfect storm for the rabble-rousing MPs? Indeed the New Direction Establishment lack the understanding of the fact-lite theatre of the suffering masses. God save Us!
!! LONG LIVE THE PEOPLE OF SIERRA LEONE.
!! GOD BLESS US ALL!!
