Report reaching this medium has revealed that 2023/24 Leone Premier League champions, Bo Rangers FC, are raising concerns over delay on payment of their prize money.
This is despite the season had ended in June 2024 last year.
And so the delay has raised serious concerns among players, club officials and fans, as the club await for funds crucial for their operations including seeking players’ welfare, they added.
Inside sources say the club have made several inquiries regarding the payment, but to no avail, especially by contacting the Sierra Leone Premier League Board.
However, many have been questioning the transparency and financial management of the league’s management.
Some players and officials have secretly expressed concerns over this unexpected delays.
“Bo Rangers had fulfilled all league obligations and won the title on merit.We are the authorities to explain,” they said.
Fans and stakeholders are now urging the SLFA and the Premier League Board to provide answers on the players’ burning issue above.
Meanwhile, efforts were being made to reach the former Sierra Leone Premier Board on clarifying and addressing the so-called allegations but to no response.
