Dr. Mohamed Habib Sheriff, President of the United Council of Imams recently robbed shoulders with over hundred and fifty [150] delegates from different countries in the World to deliberate on pertinent global issues include extremism, tolerance, drudge abuse, togetherness, and many other international concerns.

Sources further disclosed that many Islamic scholars in the World mainly hosted the meeting for representatives from their various countries to serve as potential channels to spread the message in their countries so that it will produce the desired effect to help humanity at large.

Meanwhile, many Sierra Leoneans are optimistic that Dr. Habib Sheriff  was the right man to attend the conference because of his leadership quality which he has demonstrated from the time he became president of the United Council of Imams {U C I} which is why many council members believe that the visit of their president to the  Holy Land to attend such a significant meeting was a kudus to the nation because it portrays the recognition of U.C.I at the highest pick of the sit of Islamic religion. They believe that he will surely share what he learnt from his mission with them. Knowing him for he is, ‘’we have no doubt that the return of our President is going to be a benefit for all U.C.I. members and the country at large’’, a senior Imam of UCI stated.
