The patriotic and uncompromising animal will never attack personalities in doing his work as a patriot.The bird has been flying form institution to institution, office to office to get firsthand information about the operations of certain institutions.

After a proper and accurate investigation by the bird, he noticed a lot of abnormalities occurring in the system even when the President was campaigning under the pretext of stopping corruption, lawlessness and his promise of blocking all leakages.

In his investigations, the bird noticed that, certain people are working in two different offices and are receiving two pay as salaries from the consolidated revenue fund under President Bio’s watch, the man who was preaching against corruption in the beginning of his term in office.

From all indications that shows corruption to the highest degree– for someone to be working in two public offices and that person is receiving both salaries from working in two places with money paid to him from the consolidated revenue fund.

The bird noticed upon investigation that, some people are lecturers, and at the same time directors in government institutions are receiving two payments imultaneously.

According to latest information reaching the bird late at night was that, President Julius Maada Bio has again appointed Dr. Kandeh Koleh Yomkelah as chairman Energy governance Coordinating Group (EGCG) apart from his original appointment as chairman of climate change, and renewable energy and food security.

However, the bird has not seen a letter from the secretary to the President to confirm the appointment; the bird stands to be corrected on this.

The brave bird is not in any way against the appointment of any individual or group of individuals, the bird is just thinking aloud about the fragile state of the economy in the country, to see one occupying two positions which require two payments.

On the other hand, the bird starts to imagine what impact has Dr. Yumkellah made since he was appointed Chairman of climate change, renewable energy and food security?

What again comes to minds is for one person to be handling two positions under the same administration. Nothing is wrong in that, the bird is thinking about the effectiveness of that person in those different offices he occupies. But the bird heard a business woman grumbling about this. “How can one be paid twice in public office when that person is supposed to be paid once from the state fund?”

It is no secret that, time is no longer in President Bio’s favour as he wants to do all what he did not do in the past six year, but one cannot feed a bull/cow on a market day.

The bird will name names of those holding two offices in the next edition of the bird.
