Our usually reliable sources have revealed to this medium, that a staunch supporter of the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) party, one Abdul Rashid Bangura has found himself in a very dangerous situation that has the potential of cutting his life short.

Abdul’s life, our credible report discovered has been in turmoil since the ruling Sierra Leone People’s (SLPP) assumed power in 2018; due to his unwavering criticism of President Bio.

According to report, Abdul has long been identified by supporters loyal to SLPP prior to 2018 as a thorn in their flesh and vowed to make life very much unbearable for him.

Owing to Abdul’s unrelenting criticism of the Bio administration, he had come under persistent confrontations. Thugs loyal to SLPP have repeatedly brutalized him.

Report added that even members of his family have not been speared as most of them are now in disarray as they had no protection from the law enforcement agency (The Police).

SLPP thugs perceived Abdul who hails from the northern region headquarter town of Makeni that is considered as the main stronghold of the opposition APC as an active member and hoodlum.

Abdul is accused as one of the opposition members that have involved in several protests in a bid to bring anarchy and topple the government of President Bio.

Other sources further disclosed to this medium that, since 2018 Abdul has involved in many unrest not only in confrontation with SLPP supporters but also the security apparatus.

As we went to press, the Sierra Leone Police by extension the State of Sierra Leone have deemed Abdul as a wanted person.
