One Andrew Sesay a resident of No. 17 Cape Palmas Street, Port Loko District has been declared wanted by the Sierra Leone Police for his involvement in the insurrection against the State of Sierra Leone.

According to credible report, Andrew Sesay was among many youths that protested to topple the legitimate authority of President Julius Maada Bio on August 10, 2022.

The August 10, 2022 protest left many civilians dead including six police officers; the setting ablaze of public properties and the destruction of police stations.

The protesters, police sources say were not given any legitimate permit to carry out their action on that fateful; which resulted to total anarchy.

Government on the other hand described the protesters as coupist, wanting to bring total anarchy.

Those that were visibly seen protesting against the Sgtate, were declared as wanted persons.
