For involving into gay activities, Police Declares Ibrahim Mansaray wanted
The old and the wisest citizen in this Republic has been following most of the activities, debates and the method of voting in Parliament of the main opposition APC party for quite a long time now and with keen interest.
And from what the inquisitive bird has noticed and observed in clear terms is that, the opposition Parliamentarians have been supporting almost all the bills passed in Parliament.
The most respected statesman will say without fear or favour that, whenever a bill is tabled in Parliament, members of the main opposition party will speak eloquently as if they are in support, but when it comes to matter of voting which is done in secret, some members will vote against it in support of the sitting government.
It is no secret that, accusations and counter accusations have been levied against the APC members of Parliament for allegedly taking kick-backs when it comes to passing of bills in Parliament.
What beats the most respected animal’s imagination was and still is when the bird learnt that the Leader of the main opposition allegedly took part in a meeting to determine the cost of the country’s staple food (rice).
What the brave bird was expecting the opposition leader was to act in the interest of the people to kick against the suggestion for a 50kg of rice for a price of NLe840 per bag.
The brave bird was expecting the most respected Leader to have walked out of the said meeting to show his disapproval, but he did not, meaning he was in full support of the government to continue to suffer the people.
This is a clear show that, the APC members of Parliament are in full support of whatever is been tabled by the government for kick-backs as alleged.
Take the case of the former Auditor General where APC lawmakers allegedly voted in support of the ruling government to get her out.
A lot of bills have been enacted in the House of Parliament under the watch of the APC legislators just like drinking water because of kick-backs allegedly.
The bird as usual went out to sound the views of both members and non-members of the party.
All those the bird contacted expressed dissatisfaction over the attitude of some opposition Members of Parliament.
Some even said the APC Members of Parliament have woefully failed the people; insisting that they always fail to talk where they are supposed to talk or take action to defend the people that sent them to Parliament.
Others described them as saboteurs and that they only went to Parliament to amass wealth for themselves and family.
They even said that “APC IS A MUMU OPPOSITION.”
The interesting part of it all was when a certain group told the bird that, everybody now has collected, the APC Members of Parliament have allegedly collected, the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) has collected, Civil Societies Organizations have allegedly collected etc, etc and nobody now has the MIND to talk when things go wrong.
The patient bird is watching.
