The Wise Bird has been following the activities of all the political parties in the country especially with the two main political parties, APC and SLPP.

To show that the bird is very much aware of the activities of political parties in the country, recently the National Grand Coalition (NGC) held its mini-convention in which one Mohamed Koroma was elected as party Leader.

But, in totality, this beats the imagination of the bird.

Earlier, the National Publicity Secretary of the APC party Sidi Yayah Tunis, was debunking news that the party is not divided.

He, however, admitted that the 2023 election was very much challenging for the party.

Mr. Tunis in his statement said that, the National Executive of the party has repositioned itself to addressing some of the issues in the party.

He did not stop at that, and he went further to say that, at present, the party is on a nationwide “PEACE TOUR” and at the same time it is educating its members on the outcome of the Tripartite Committee, particularly about the issue of a possibility of a Re-run election.

He also spoke about the rumours going around that they have issues with the chain of command in the party; adding the 2022 party constitution clearly defines and stipulates the Leadership criteria and tenure of office.

He went further to say that, they only have one Leader and that is Hon. Minkailu Mansaray, on the other hand one Mr. Alfred Peter Conteh is also claiming to be the party’s Chairman how?

What the bird did not understand was and still is, if the party is not divided why the need for the Executive to go for a nationwide PEACE TOUR to members of the APC.

According to the understanding of the bird, peace tour only comes in where there is division.

The Wise Bird is advising all Executive members of the political parties to tell their members to say the correct information on vital issues about the party and other happenings.

“If the party is divided say it, but we are trying to put things in place, but to say the party is not divided but on a peace tour nationwide is nonsensical,” he said.

Tell the people the true, they will understand, APC, stop deceiving the people the samething happened in the case of the Tripartite the people were not told the correct thing.
