The Wise Bird is known for flying the length and breadth of the country to get correct, accurate and credible information to give to the people who respect him most.

According to information reaching the most respected animal, it states that the National Advisory Committee (NAC) and the National Executive of the Main Opposition APC party are presently holding meetings to have a mini Delegates Conference.

The mini delegates’ conference will be between now and December 2024.

The brave bird was also informed that, the reason(s) for the mini delegates’ conference is to make slight amendments to the 2022 All People’s Congress (APC) party National Constitution.

According to what the bird has gathered is that, the drafters of the APC Constitution, in the past, did a very good job at the time of drafting the Constitution but of late NAC, the Executive and some senior members of the party have noticed that most articles, sections are needed to be amended for the good of the party.

The bird is of the view that it is always very common to see in every constitution stating that, “the constitution is subject to amendment,” and so it is not a strain thing to make an amendment at the right time.

What was not clear at the time of our investigation on this issue was a date and a place has not been reached yet as to when the mini delegates’ conference will be held.

The Wise animal, in order for it to get more facts on the issue, he spoke to some senior party members to confirm the information the bird had already got.

It was clear that, indeed the party is planning to hold a mini delegates convention to make some amendments to the constitution.

However, a date and place for the mini delegates’ convention has not reached and talks are still going on within NAC and the Executive.

The bird contacted the power-house of the party (Secretary General) lawyer Lansana Dumbuya to confirm the report but to no avail; anyway, the phone number of the Sec. Gen. is withheld by this medium for security reasons.

The bird was also told that, the APC National Delegates Conference are to elect both the executive members while the flag-bearer’s election will likely be held 2026.
