As interclub tournament sets to hold in the country, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially approved the Southern Arena stadium in Bo city.
It is going to be used as the venue for the first leg preliminary match of the 2024/25 CAF Champions League between Bo Rangers and San Pedro.
The approval follows a prosperous pre-inspection of the stadium by Sierra Leone Football Association’s Director of Competitions and Facility, Sorie Ibrahim Sesay.
CAF’s green light confirms that the Southern Arena meets the stringent standards required to host such a high-profile continental competition.
Football fans in Sierra Leone are eagerly anticipating the historic match which will see Bo Rangers competing on the continental stage.
