Dr. Abu Bakarr Sidique Fofanah is a distinguished Sierra Leonean public health expert, philanthropist and community development advocate, with a Doctorate degree (PhD) from Walden University. His research on type II Diabetes mellitus among African immigrants underscores his commitment to addressing critical health issues. For over two decades, Dr. Fofanah has led impactful community development initiatives across Sierra Leone. His contributions include building community centers, hospitals, mosques, churches and schools as well as providing scholarships to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
